Ingredients

• 6-8 average size potatoes (Yukon Golds or Russets potatoes have a higher starch content - fluffier. Reds will work if that is all you got.), cubed
• 5-6 tablespoons of butter
• ¼ - ½ cup of milk
• ½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
• ½ teaspoon pepper (to taste)

Directions

1. Peel and cut up potatoes in cubes.
2. Rinse off potatoes.
3. Place potatoes in a pot.
4. Cover potatoes with cold water to start so they will cook evenly.
5. Add salt to water.
6. Bring pot to a boil.
7. Cook for 20 minutes or till fork tender.
8. After cooking time is complete, drain potatoes in colander.
9. Place potatoes back in pot.
10. Add butter and ¼ cup of milk to start.
11. Cream potatoes with an electric mixer starting on low speed then medium speed till potatoes reach a creamy consistency adding more milk if needed.
12. Salt & pepper to taste.
