Mushroom Meatballs

Rice or egg noodles, it's a hard decision to make which one Aunt Sandy's Mushroom Meatballs with Mushroom Cream Sauce taste the best on top. Aunt Sandy's homemade Meatballs are made with items already in your pantry, so is the creamy mushroom sauce. The two combined together make a delicious dish whether on top of noodles or rice for supper tonight.

Ingredients - Meatballs

• 1 lb. ground chuck or hamburger meat
• ½ cup onion, chopped
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• ¼ cup of milk
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• ¼ teaspoon oregano

Ingredients - Mushroom Sauce

• 2 can cream of mushroom soup
• 2 cups of milk (1 cup per can of soup)
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
• 3 tablespoons butter, unsalted
• 1-2 tablespoons parsley, chopped fine
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• Pinch sugar
• Fresh or can mushrooms

Directions

1. Preheat oven 350°F (177°C).
2. Grease cookie sheet with cooking spray.
3. Grease 13 x 9 (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray.
4. Mix meatballs ingredients together thoroughly.
5. Roll into medium size balls (golf ball size).
6. Place meatballs on greased cookie sheet and place in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
7. Remove meatballs from oven and drain.
8. Allow meatballs to cool.
9. Mixed sauce Ingredients together well in a (pourable) bowl.
10. Pour sauce over meatballs.
11. Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 30 minutes.
12. Serve over rice or noodles.
