Savory Beef and Biscuit Bake is a comfort food dish that is both filling and easy to make. The beef mixture is sandwiched between two layers of biscuit, and is so good.

Preheat oven to 375º
Brown hamburger meat drain
Add onions and green chilies to meat in pan
Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, then simmer
Separate (half) canned biscuits to make 20 biscuits
Spray a 9 x 10 baking dish with cooking spray.
Place 10 of the biscuit halves on the bottom of baking dish.
Combined half of the Monterey Jack cheese and half of the cheddar cheese with the sour cream and beaten egg - mix well.
Remove meat mixture from heat.
Stir in sour cream / cheese mixture into meat mixture.
Pour mixture over 10 biscuits in the bottom of baking dish.
Place the remaining 10 biscuit halves on top of the combined mixture in baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining half of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese on top.
