- Pick the 5 best strawberry out for the top.
- Take all the remaining strawberries cut off the tops, cut them in half, wash, and pat dry.
- Take the cake and cut it into small size cubes.
- Empty the Strawberry Gel container into the medium mixing bowl that has the washed halfed strawberries.
- Use a trifle bowl or a deep bowl to build the Trifle.
- Start with a layer of cubed cake on the bottom of the bowl.
- Next add a layer of Cool Whip just enough to cover the cake.
- Then put a layer of gel and strawberries mixture.
- Repeat layers: cake, Cool Whip, and strawberry gel mixture until it's all used up.
- End with a layer of Cool Whip.
- Take the strawberries that you set aside at the start, and cut tops off, wash, and pat dry.
- Slice strawberries and place on top as decoration.
- Keep in the refrigerator until time to serve.
