Rice Crispy Treats are such a versatile and delicious snack that can be used for dessert, holiday treats or edible gifts. Served them at parties, picnics or after school snacks. Rice Crispy Treats can be customized by adding additional ingredients like chocolate chips, sprinkles or your favorite topping. Aunt Sandy added her secret ingredient that keep her nieces and nephews guessing for years.

Ingredients

• 3 tbsp butter
• 1 package (10 oz., about 40) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
• 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
• 6 cups rice crispy cereal

Directions

1. Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with cooking spray.
2. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
4. Add peanut butter.
5. Remove from heat.
6. Add Rice Krispies cereal.
7. Stir until well coated.
8. Using buttered spatula and/or wax paper press mixture evenly into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
9. Let Cool for 30-60 minutes.
10. Cut into 2-inch squares.
