Lemon Pound Cake

Lemon Pound Cake has a distinctive refreshing tangy citrus flavor that is a crowd pleaser. Aunt Sandy's Lemon Pound Cake is so moist, and comes with a lemon glaze over the top.

Ingredients

• 1 lemon cake mix.
• 1 package (3.4 oz.) lemon instant pudding mix.
• 4 large eggs
• 1 cup water
• ⅓ cup oil
• ⅓ cup powdered sugar
• 4 tbsp lemon juice

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
2. Grease and Flour 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan.
3. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil in large bowl.
4. Beat at medium speed with mixer for 2 minutes.
5. Pour into pan.
6. Bake at 350ºF for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
7. Make icing by mixing powdered sugar into the lemon juice.
8. Remove cake from oven and poke holes on top of cake.
9. Pour icing mixture over cake straight out of the oven.
10. Cool in pan 25 minutes.
11. Loosen cake from pan.
12. Invert onto heat resistant plate.
13. Flip cake onto heat resistant serving cake plate.
14. Let cake cool completely.
