Aunt Sandy's Crumb Cake is a family recipe that has a delicious crumbly streusel topping that is soft with a crunch. Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 egg
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 2 tablespoon cinnamon

Cake Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Grease 13 x 9 baking dish with cooking spray.
3. Mix by hand flour, brown sugar, and melted butter to make a crumb mixture. Save ⅔ cup of the crumb mixture for topping.
4. Mix together baking powder, baking soda, egg, buttermilk, and vanilla.
5. Mix both mixtures together.
6. Spread evenly mixture into bottom of greased baking dish.
7. Spread remaining ⅔ of crumb mixture on top of mixture in dish.
8. Sprinkle chopped nuts and cinnamon on top of mixtures.
9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
10. Reduce heat to 325°F (163°C) and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
