Apple Dapple Cake is a delicious and sweet dessert that features apples as a key ingredient. It's a moist cake with chunks of apples and a sweet topping. The combination of the apple's natural sweetness, the sugar in the cake, coconut, pecans, and topping makes it a delightful treat for those with a sweet tooth without being overly sweet.

Cake Ingredients

• 1½ cup cooking oil
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs, slightly beaten
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 1 cup coconut, shredded
• 3 cups apples: peeled, cored, and chopped small pieces

Topping Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• ½ cup butter
• ½ cup milk

Cake Directions

1. Preheat oven 325ºF.
2. MIx oil, sugar, eggs.
3. Add flour, soda, salt, and vanilla.
4. Beat with blender.
5. Stir in apples, coconut, and nuts.
6. Take a bundt pan and cover the inside with shortening then dust it with flour.
7. Bake for 1½ hours. Check after 1 hour.

Topping Directions

1. Add brown sugar, butter, and milk to a sauce pan.
2. Bring topping ingredients to a boil and stir for 2 minutes.
3. Keep topping warm till cake is done.
4. Take cake out of oven.
5. Straight out of the oven, pour topping over cake and let it soak in.
6. Let cake cool for 1 hour.
7. Loosen cake from pan with a small sharp knife.
8. Invert onto heat resistant plate.
9. Flip cake onto heat resistant serving cake plate.
10. Let cake cool completely.
