Ingredients

• 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
• 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup nuts, chopped
• 1 bag (16 ounces) semisweet chocolate morsels

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
3. Combine butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl.
4. Mix on medium till mixture is creamy.
5. Add one eggs at a time, beating each egg well after adding.
6. Add dry ingredients.
7. Add morsels and nuts.
8. Drop tablespoons of mixture onto ungreased cookies sheets.
9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Cool on cookie sheets for a couple of minutes.
11. Remove cookies and complete cooling on wire racks.
