Crock Pot Oklahoma Dip w/ Salsa

Oklahoma Dip is a delicious and crowd-pleasing appetizer that has layers of favors and heat. Salsa mixes in so well with the meats, cheese, and green chilies. The beauty of Oklahoma Dip is you can turn up the heat and spice level to what you like. It's versatility and bold flavors make it a hit at parties and gatherings, offering a satisfying and irresistible snack for all to enjoy.

Ingredients

• 1 lb hamburger meat
• 1 lb pork country sausage (hot or mild)
• 2 cans (4 oz.) of diced green chilies
• 1 jar (16 oz.) favorite salsa or 2 cans of Rotel
• 2 lbs. Mexican Velveeta cheese
• Sliced jalapeños (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat crock pot on high. I add ½ cup of water to heat the inside quicker.
2. Brown the hamburger meat and sausage.
3. Drain meat mixture well.
4. Cut the Mexican Velveeta cheese into cubes (it will melt easier).
5. Mix all the ingredients together.
6. Faster: Microwave mixture on high for a total of 5-15 minutes stiring often.
7. Pour mixture in pre-warmed crockpot.
OR
8. Slower: Pour mixture into a crock pot and cook on high heat for 2.5-3.5 hours, stirring every 1-1.5 hours.
